Free Chinese New Year Kit! But You Need to Hurry!

For all my friends who want to get a jump start on Chinese New Year preparations, Panda Express is offering a FREE Chinese New Year Kit for up to 35 students. Be aware that you need to order before January 8th! We used this service last year for Josie's preschool and were very pleased.

The FREE kit is geared for second through fourth grades (I adapted some of it for Josie's preschool and plan to use it with her Kindergarten class this year), It includes:
  • Panda Express’ Year of the Dragon DVD
  • Year of the Dragon Fact Sheet
  • Jade Emperor’s Interactive Game & Activity Sheet
  • Chinese New Year Decoration Art Activity
  • Lai See Activity Sheet
  • Bookmarks (with a Free Kids Meal with purchase coupon attached)
See here for details from Panda Express.

I also placed an order with Oriental Trading company for mini red envelopes

that I'm going to fill with Chinese chocolate gold coins.

I also ordered dragon masks that can be colored.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be sharing lots of other dragon and CNY crafts.

As you can see, Josie is very proud
of her homemade paper dragon.
Lots of dragon crafts coming soon.

Happy Year of the Dragon!
XOXO

I bet Josie loves taking her kit to school and feels very special talking about it with her class. (and I bet they go home and tell their parents that they want to celebrate it too!!)
I'm gearing up for the christmas take down. was going to wait another week.. but I feel it coming on for this weekend... probably...
