Today's book isn't exactly a story book, but I loved the graphics so much I thought you might enjoy a sneak peek. It's a 1971 cookbook titled, "Fun to Cook Book" sponsored by Carnation Company.
Who doesn't dream of desserts!!I'm tying this week's book to my collection of tin toy dishes. These photos were taken in my craft room.
But, I'm not the only one who enjoys tin dishes. Josie has quite the collection too.

I love reading these vintage story books posts over my first cup of coffee!!! That cook book is such a fun find, the graphics are precious - I have always been partial to the range of colours that were used in those early 70s books. Great tin collection as well, we have started one - but it is not nearly as extensive as Josie's! Have a great weekend!

Kim, I was at the thrift store yesterday and thought of you. They had two little doll beds that had neat 50's decals on them. Too cute, but too expensive - they wanted $11.99 a piece. And once again, I have seen that book somewhere. I sort of remember the soup "recipe"!
