Creekside adventures...

I was cleaning off the memory card and came across some pictures that were taken a few months ago when Chris took the girls on a long walk behind our house.

Consumer's Energy owns the land behind our home and it's fairly undeveloped. If you were to walk past our treehouse, beyond our vegetable garden and out a few acres, this is what you would see.

Our subdivision is actually named after a creek that runs behind our property.

I can't wait to see what this creek looks like during the summer months.

It might even be picnic worthy!

  3. So glad you found those photos on the memory card, they are lovely and bring back a ton of memories. My childhood home was on a creek (the water was a little lower than yours), but it was a staple in our summer adventures (sort of my own Banks of Plum Creek).
    Perfect setting for a picnic!

  4. Stupende queste immagini...io amo tantissimo l'atmosfera misteriosa e incantata del bosco, specie se attraversato da un corso d'acqua!

  7. We have something very similar that runs through our neighborhood. Our boys love to catch minnows in it. Your girls look like they found a new place to ponder...much like the hundred acre woods...smiles...Renee
ps what else can Chris take pictures of...we could get him a blog too!

  10. Beautiful :) I have creek envy. Ours is more of a swampy marsh than anything.

  14. Looks like the perfect place to go exploring! :-) Hope your foot is healing well and you are starting to feel better again.
I really do need to organize that paper doll page better. It seems to get more and more chaotic the more pictures I add. And I still have quite a few left to get pictures of. Never enough hours in the day.
