We also have a new resident
at our treehouse.
Chris surprised me with him when we
went to Frankenmuth.
I think he likes his new dwelling.
And in case you missed it last year,
my special friend Lee from Small Enchantments
gave us this sweet fairy door for our treehouse.
PS. I can't take any credit for these photos.
I'm still limited in putting weight on my left foot.
Chris has been my outdoor photographer lately.
Thank you, honey!

Your little owl is adorable. I still love the tiny little door. That would have fascinated me as a little girl. Chris is handling his new photography duties well!
ReplyDeleteIsn't that just adorable? Those kids are just darling and I love the little owl. Good job on the photos. I am off my ankle, too. It drives me nuts!!!! xo Diana
ReplyDeleteThe owl looks like he belongs there!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures~I hope you are being good and dreaming instead of doing...but somehow I find it hard to imagine you sitting still!
I have a new fairy door~I should share it when I am home from another adventure.
Take care!
How I wish I had a treehouse!! And your owl in a hammock is just as sweet as can be! I am working on a fairy garden under my dogwood tree. I love that door!

What a fun place for all the kids...every age! I would love getting away from it all and spending time there! Love the cute owl and the fairy door of course! Take care of yourself, my friend! ♥
ReplyDeleteYour new little owl is so cute! And I bet he loves his new home. It is so nice that the girls use the treehouse for so many activities...their own wonderful retreat ~ so much fun! Hope they keep an eye out for the fairys.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't discovered Becky Kelly's art, you should have a look. She has adorable little girls and fairies galore. One of her 'regulars' is a little almond eyed angel found in many of her drawings. I wrote to her when I gave my two daughters her book Sisters, one girl is Caucasian, the other Asian, just like ours!

Oh! Your girls are so lucky to have that tree house! I think I would have spent hours reading and daydreaming in there when I was little, if I could have.
ReplyDeleteLove the owl!
Hope your foot is feeling a bit better.
Erica :)
I very much agree...this is by far the best place for a study session. Darling owl, he knows you well. How is your Frakenfoot? Smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteI've been so CRAZY busy...I totally missed the foot surgery. Hope you're mending!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that treehouse! ♥♥

Love the new addition to the tree house! and of course your fairy door. What a perfect space to day dream or do algebra:) I hope you are on the mend, Chris is a terrific guest blogger.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking there are a lot of things that would be more fun when in the treehouse. I'm sure I would enjoy grading papers more if i could do it in there. Have a great weekend. Hope your foot is feeling a little better everyday.
ReplyDeleteFUN!! I bet studying in a tree house would have helped me when I was studying algebra! (Ok, probably not... math just isn't my forte.)
ReplyDeleteYour fairy door and resident wise owl add even more charm to the sweetest address on the planet.
Hi Kim,
ReplyDeletewhen I saw the title of your post, I thought "oh no! I hope she didn't try and climb that ladder in a cast!!" So relieved to hear that you didn't:) Looks like the tree house makes a great study hall. Love that sweet little owl! Hope you have been resting and are on the mend!
If we lived closer, we could melt into the outdoor chairs I just painted and admire your treehouse while you put up your game leg and I prop my puffy ones. I'll have a Mockarita, you can have a little Jose'.
ReplyDeleteThe owl is so cute and a hubby that is willing to help with your blog post and take the photos. That's a home run!
