and (Dime Store Chic)
had a clothes pin bag for a reasonable price.
The laundry bag was simple and I wanted to add
something more to jazz it up a bit.
As much as I love to create things, I'm not a sewer.
I added some mini ric rac and these sweet blue flowers.
It's now hanging up in my laundry room.
Along with some of my other favorite laundry inspired goodies.
I'm hopeful that Chris can find a spot in our yard
for a clothesline this summer.
There's nothing better than fresh,
crisp sheets and tablecloths off the line.
Your clothespin bag is sweet! Not to mention your decorations in your laundry room. Love them!
ReplyDeleteYou may not be a sewer, but you sure have the art of embellishment down!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute!! Love hanging laundry outside -- wish I had a clothesline too!
ReplyDeleteLine dried towels are pretty awesome too :) We'd love to have a clotheline in our yard as well someday. Until then, we've used a piece of twine stretched from the deck to a pole in the yard hahaha. Not cute in the least!
ReplyDeleteOh~ Isn't that cute? I love the little embellishments you added. I love my clothes lines- especially for sheets! Nothing in the world like line-dried sheets.
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet laundry room. Mine is waiting for a re-do. xo Diana
What would we ever do without Miss Beth and her fantastic finds...you cannot beat her prices. Your bag is delightful. I am currently redoing my laundry room after multiple repairs to the washer....smiles...Renee
ReplyDeleteLove that room! The bag re-do is perfect.
ReplyDeletelove your laundry room!!
ReplyDeleteYou make every space beautiful in your home! I love to do laundry...and your laundry room is adorable!
ReplyDeleteLike that ensemble of the threads and measuring tape and scissors :-)
ReplyDeleteReading this post this morning reminded me to go check on the status of my OWN laundry!:-)
ReplyDeleteLove the trim you've added to the clothespin bag! Also, lovely decor to your laundry room.
So cute! But then everything you do is adorable!
ReplyDeleteDriving to Chicago soon to catch a flight to CA. We will see both sons and attend a mouse event. I had many late nights working on my miniature displays~crossing my fingers that I win a mouse or two!
Hope you have a good outing and a great weekend!
Wish my laundry room was so neat and cute! You did a good job on the clothespin bag!

It's so cute!
ReplyDeleteYou do have a darling laundry room.
I haven't ever dried clothes on a line outside. Hopefully it helps to have the wind blow it because I have dried many clothes on a rack indoors and clothes and especially towels turn out so coarse that it's almost like a loofah when it's time to dry off after a shower!
Your little vintage clothes pin bag is so sweet and looks perfect in your cute laundry room!
ReplyDeleteLove you laundry room!! Especially your washboards!! They are the best!! Your laundry bag is so cute!! I just saw some old wooden clips on Etsy the other day. If I find them again, I can send you the link!! They are fun to have!! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteYour laundry room is so cute Kim! I am on the hunt for s set of doll clothes pins. You know the plastic kind? I love sheets on the line too!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Debbie
I am a huge fan of clotheslines, it is still is a little cold her, but I intend to start soon. Your pin bag turned out so sweet, you do have a beautiful laundry room, love the washboards.
ReplyDeleteHi pretty lady,
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that bag??? You did an awesome job of spiffing it up. Your laundry room is so cute. I can't wait to show ya'll my redecorated craft area, I think you'll appreciate the work that went into it.
Have a lovely day,
Meri
I agree on the outdoor clothesline-nothing smells better then clothes on the line. I love your cute laundry room and the clothespin bag is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet laundry area! And knowing how much work there's to do in that room, why not make it as cozy as possible? My washer and dryer are in a dark, often damp basement so I'm just swooning over your decor!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute laundry room! I love that you have vintage laundry decor in there! We don't have an actual "room" for our w/d- they're located in the pass-through to our garage, so I'm always envious of people who can really decorate theirs!
ReplyDeletePlease send Chris to my house after he finishes there! I want a clothes line in the yard too. Time to start using Mr Sun to dry the clothes. Your pin bag turned out so cute, and is perfect in there with all the laundry and mending items on the shelf.
ReplyDeleteI think the local hardware store may sell the clothes pins you are looking for. I do hang my sheets outside in the summer months!
ReplyDeleteThe little blue flowers addede the right punch to your clothes pin bag.
Deb
I love the scent of line dried laundry too, Kim! I wish that I had a clothes line. Love your cute vignettes!
ReplyDeleteSo very sweet, Kim! You have made your laundry room a lovely destination!
