Laundry on the line...

I've been searching for a vintage-style clothes pin bag
and  (Dime Store Chic)
had a clothes pin bag for a reasonable price.

The laundry bag was simple and I wanted to add
something more to jazz it up a bit.

As much as I love to create things, I'm not a sewer.
I added some mini ric rac and these sweet blue flowers.

It's now hanging up in my laundry room.

Along with some of my other favorite laundry inspired goodies.
I'm hopeful that Chris can find a spot in our yard
for a clothesline this summer.

There's nothing better than fresh,
crisp sheets and tablecloths off the line
.

  4. Line dried towels are pretty awesome too :) We'd love to have a clotheline in our yard as well someday. Until then, we've used a piece of twine stretched from the deck to a pole in the yard hahaha. Not cute in the least!

  11. So cute! But then everything you do is adorable!
Driving to Chicago soon to catch a flight to CA. We will see both sons and attend a mouse event. I had many late nights working on my miniature displays~crossing my fingers that I win a mouse or two!
Hope you have a good outing and a great weekend!

  13. It's so cute!
You do have a darling laundry room.
I haven't ever dried clothes on a line outside. Hopefully it helps to have the wind blow it because I have dried many clothes on a rack indoors and clothes and especially towels turn out so coarse that it's almost like a loofah when it's time to dry off after a shower!

  20. What a sweet laundry area! And knowing how much work there's to do in that room, why not make it as cozy as possible? My washer and dryer are in a dark, often damp basement so I'm just swooning over your decor!

  21. What a cute laundry room! I love that you have vintage laundry decor in there! We don't have an actual "room" for our w/d- they're located in the pass-through to our garage, so I'm always envious of people who can really decorate theirs!

  22. Please send Chris to my house after he finishes there! I want a clothes line in the yard too. Time to start using Mr Sun to dry the clothes. Your pin bag turned out so cute, and is perfect in there with all the laundry and mending items on the shelf.
