A special pink dress...

Earlier this week, I mentioned that Josie wanted a flamingo-themed birthday party.  A shopping trip to Target with my mom produced this adorable $8 dress!
Josie doesn't typically like to wear dresses, but when I showed her this one, she was very eager to model it for me.

I've got a few weeks to prepare for all our festivities.
I need to focus on Emma's "14th" birthday first.

Let's just say that Dollar Tree loves me.

  2. So what are you doing for Emmas party? I know she wants a more grown up party now. What about a girls overnight and they can do a pampering night, facials, nails, hair curling.. and for favors you could do little makeup bags full of goodies. you could have do a couple movies and popcorn and milkshakes. weve had a couple of those type of parties in the past. I loved Emmas party last year with the melted record bowls!
and lucky Josie! perfect dress and glasses! I did not get the post office yet.. but I will today. Ive been carrying the package around in my purse.
    anyways... Happy Friday!!

  3. Great finds, the dress is lovely and a perfect party dress and those glasses are hysterical - remind me of the Golden Girls !(I was a huge fan). I though of Josie the other day while strolling through The Children's Place, they have some flamingo t-shirts for spring. Have a great weekend, party planning is so much fun, especially when you have such a fun theme.
