My little corner of China...

After hanging up my latest Chinese checkerboard, I decided that I needed to update my blog with a few pictures of my favorite Asian collections found in my craft room

Soaring high above the checkerboards is a paper goldfish kite purchased while in Beijing.   The purple CNY lion puppet was purchased in Guangzhou.

The outfit/fan and silk tiger hat were once worn by Josie.  The honeycomb lantern garland is a gift from Renee (My Vintage Mending).

The suitcase is serves as storage and the perfect mini table to display a variety of special treasures.

Paper lanterns and tissue flowers remind me of festive party decorations.

These vintage mini lantern lights are on my pink feather tree.  I love their tiny red tassels.

The pin cushion was purchased from Beth's Bagz.   Isn't her pink jacket and little kitten so sweet?.

I definitely have a special place in my heart and in my craft room for China.

  20. Yes you do, and it's magical. It also reminds me, I have something to send to you, too. Sheesh, I just sent out 10 packages on Wednesday, and forgot to do yours. I'll get to it as soon as I quit gluing all the miniature ornament boxes for E's swap...;o)

    Hugs,
