We're celebrating a birthday!!

Happy Birthday to my holiday-loving, devoted husband and daddy!!

To a man that patiently agrees to scout out antique stores/estate sales, and drag home more holiday treasures than we really have room for. The girls and I can't wait to celebrate today, and many more birthdays and wonderful moments with you.  We love you dearly!

Feel free to say Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby!  Yes.  We're enjoying my mother's pumpkin pie on Halloween plates for his special day.  It's only fitting for the King of Halloween to want homemade pumpkin pie instead of birthday cake.

  12. Happy Birthday Chris. Hope you have a great day. Rieley was just asking me to make a pumpkin pie the other day. Looking at yours, may just have too.

  13. Happy Birthday to Chris. My husband gets a pumpkin pie instead of cake each year too. (July birthday) The recipe I use was found in an obituary column. It had this mans obit and included his pumpkin pie recipe which he was well know for (he was a local chef). I figured if the recipe was good enough for the obit, I would use it. I have his photo cut from the newspaper on my recipe card and he grins at me every time I make the pie.

Our oldest son goes by Chris (even tho his name is Christopher---and I still call him that sometimes).
Have a great day (it's obvious that you will; what with special Halloween plates, Pumpkin Pie, cute and adorable girls and a darling and amazing wife!)!
