Our GREAT pumpkins!!

Each year, Chris goes to his favorite pumpkin patch and brings home at least 20 pumpkins.

He is quite the mad scientist when it comes to carving.

Here are a few of the many pumpkins that he carved this year.

PS.  Thinking of everyone in the Sandy's path. May you be safe and sound from the storm.

  1. Great pumpkins! I didnt carve any yet.. and I dont think I'm going too. Its going to be rainy and we really only get a couple trick or treaters.. so I think I'm going to pass!
unless, Chris wants to come over and do some more. I have 18 pumpkins here. lol! Actually, I noticed that several of them have spots and are starting to rot already. That doesnt usually happen this early.
    oh well!
    have a great day Kim!

  7. Chris has definitely got lots of carving talent, because the pumpkins look fantastic! I wish my hubby would help me decorate for the holidays. Although he did help me hang the Halloween bunting, and I told him that from now on that's his job, so it might be the start of him helping me, fingers crossed!

  18. Wow, hubby really goes all out! My hubby bought me the weirdest shaped pumpkin this year, but I won't be able to carve it, so he's going to. My hands aren't so good anymore, and I've gotta save what use I have for the luncheon in two weeks.

So glad your party was successful, I was really wishin' I was there.

    Love ya'
    Meri

  20. That "I told you I was sick" tombstone cracks me up every time. That is one heck of a lot of pumpkins. Does he get carpal tunnel syndrome by the time he's done?
