Earlier last week when I dropped off a bag of gently used clothing at my local Goodwill, this stack of small bowls were just waiting to be rescued.
Perfect for a few strawberries.
jellybeans
or Easter m&ms
The bowls weren't the only things that came home with me. A bag of thread spools came home too.
I'm addicted to making things with spools now...which is Friday's post. Thanks for another crafting addiction, Sandy!
Oh! cant wait to see what spoolies youve been working on! I've not done much crafting this week. been busy elsewhere. I did start two different projects for a swap, but have ditched them both as I just didnt like what they were becoming!
ReplyDeletehave a great day!

Sweet little bowls . . . Fun to find "thrift treats" when we aren't even looking for them isn't it!
ReplyDeleteThe bowls are darling! Deserving of a good home! Looking forward to seeing your spoolies!!!

I love the bowls. Those are the perfect thing to pick at the thrift store. I should know-I have a few sets of bowls and small plates. Can't wait to see your Friday post on spools!
ReplyDeleteGreat find, such pretty dishes. I think I'm addicted to dishes, since I can't pass them up!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see your spoolies Kim! I find myself looking for spools everytime I hit the thrifts. Spoolies must be addicting too!

ReplyDeleteYou didn't come home with anything?! Wow! But your new bowls are a great find...and I just picked up a bag of spools while in CA last week...some are half spools. Such fun to poke around little antique stores for treasures!
ReplyDeleteLove the bowls!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure whatever you make with those spools will be adorable!
Can't wait to see!
LOL- Oh- No- You've been bitten by another addiction! I have way too many of them and I am afraid to even come back here tomorrow now!;>) Cute little bowls. You get a Hero award for "rescuing" them! xo Diana

ReplyDeleteLove those bowls, Kim! Another lucky find, along with more spools! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteLove the bowls. A nice reward for donating your clothes. I drove an hour to an estate sale this morning and found an amazing tin doll house. Can't wait to post some pictures of it. I know you will approve-it is in great shape and I'm so glad to have one for my collection. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how we take stuff to the goodwill to get rid of clutter....& then bring something home...that doesn't mean we r hoarders right? Cause I do the same thing! LOL! I love those sweet little bowls...you definitely needed to rescue them....hugs Patti M : )
ReplyDeleteWhat great deals. You never know what you'll find! Enjoy your day, my friend!
