It's been a very long winter with very few estate sales. On Saturday, Chris and I managed to visit three different sales late morning. It was day 2 at all the sales and everything was 50% off. My favorite house had pink shutters on the front porch. We walked out empty handed, but it was a part of the city that neither of us had visited before and we enjoyed the majestic old neighborhoods.
The next two homes I didn't take pictures of the exterior. They were 1970 style homes. Nothing too exciting and it was raining like crazy outside. I managed to find a few things to bring home with me.
A few bracelets.
Some holiday decorations.
A wind-up toy.
A 3-ring notebook with the neatest graphics on the cover.
Not sure what I'll use this for, but I couldn't leave it behind.
A few records to play in my craft room.
Including this darling hokey pokey record.
And a spring table cloth.
We were only gone a couple of hours, but I definitely got the estate sale bug. I'm certainly ready to do more estate sale snooping.
Estate sales are so fun to visit --you found some good stuff!! Monday sure came quickly, didn't it! Hope you have a great week!

ReplyDeleteI love it all. I haven't been to many estate sales lately-but this sure makes me want to go. I love the little Easter decs. I'm sure you'll come with something fabulous to use these things for!
ReplyDeleteThe binder is very cool. Also like the toy and the pretty linen. I like the 2nd as most places sell the stuff at half off! Love my deals.
ReplyDeleteWarmly,
deb
Some good things there, Kim. We were too involved in other things this week-end to do any estate sale shopping, but that is something we have enjoyed in past years. This gives me some motivation to go again!

Your bunny on the tricycle is just darling, Kim! And I love the pretty vintage tablecloth! I am looking forward to garage sale season, there is nothing like the thrill of the hunt!!
ReplyDeleteThat hokey pokey record is adorable!!! Good estate sales are hard to come by around here-mostly cheesy 1980s beach house decor...! I wish I had better pickins!
ReplyDeleteOh, what sweet finds!! Love those pink shutters, too!! Such a pretty tablecloth!! ;) xo Heather
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to an estate sale in a long time. I think Magpie Ethel has all the goodies at her house!! lol Can't wait for the flea markets! Love the hokey pokey record too!
