The never-ending birthday party...

We were finally able to celebrate Josie's 7th birthday with my extended family.
We enjoyed lots of food and drink at this party.  Thank you for making your famous pulled-pork sandwiches, Uncle Pat!
My mother made one of her very special birthday cakes.

She found the western-inspired figurines at Hobby Lobby.
I still can't believe my baby girl is seven!

Everyone got into the spirit of the party.
I wouldn't be surprised if some of these pictures don't end up in my parent's Christmas newsletter.
My Western party decor was enjoyed for many many weeks, but it's time to officially say goodbye.

Happy Trails!  Happy 7th Birthday, Josie!

  17. That cake your mom made is wonderful!! Josie's party(s) just look like they were so much fun. It really is such a gift you're giving your kids with these memories- they will always remember what a big deal Mom and Dad made of their birthdays!

"The never-ending party" reminds me of October around here. My niece, nephew, and son all have birthdays within 3 weeks of each other, then Grandma comes down sometime during that time as well. So we're having party after party celebrating one or more kids all October!
