Just in case you're out shopping...

I haven't done a Target post in awhile, but in case you are running errands this week, you might want to snag these cute needle felted pumpkins while they are still around.
They come in two sizes. The smaller size is $3. The larger size is $5. They are located with the Halloween decor, not near the $1 dollar bins (which is the area that I normally find all kinds of fabulous deals).

As you can imagine, these little cuties have all kinds of decorating potential.
One of my favorite ideas I borrowed from Viv (Viv's Whimsy or the Queen of all-things Halloween).  She decorated a pumpkin can and tucked her own needled felted pumpkin inside.  See this post for her tutorial. She's so darn talented!

This is my $3 Target pumpkin is sitting on top of an empty can of pumpkin filing.  Two nail holes and pipe cleaner form the  handle.
Later I decided  that the can needed some embellishments and my pumpkin needed a ruffled tissue paper collar.
Happy Shopping!

Happy Halloween!

  13. Lol! I made a canned pumpkin today! One of the labels I found on google was exactly the right size to go around an empty cranberry can. It took five minutes. I printed it, glued to the can(upside down)added a Walmart $1 pumpkin with crepe paper ruffle and tied on a black and orange ribbon. Ta da! I get the best ideas from you and Viv. I used the Butterfly Brand label...loved the colors. I would have gotten the Target pumpkins, but I have decided to economize and use the materials I have on hand. It will be fun...I hope.
