A few of my favorite things...

 It's been a snowy weekend filled with lots of ice skating.
 I think our rink was shoveled at least six times.
Both girls spent the weekend learning how to perfect their backward skating.
When I wasn't on the ice, I was rearranging Christmas treasures.

I keep finding more of my favorite decorations to tuck here and there.
My collection of Gurley candles just keeps multiplying!
And my estate sale red dresser is now taking up temporary residence on the kitchen counter. 
I hope your weekend was a restful one, or one filled with lots of favorite activities.

  1. It was a great weekend, and I am a little sad to go back to school tomorrow. I just keep telling myself 5 more days! Looks like you guys had lots of fun on the rink this weekend. I think you are going to get tons of ice skating time this winter.

  9. Your rink looks beautiful! we have had so much snow too (all day Saturday). We went sledding this morning. Your photos are beautiful, it looks like Josie really has developed good balance under Emma's tutelage! Have a lovely week, I hope the commute is better.

  12. I love it when I see something that's new to me! The snowman tipping his hat! I have a couple of snowmen but both have hats on their heads! The candles look so cute in the vignette all together instead of a few here and there!

  13. Kim your snow laden trees are really beautiful! Love how much fun you allure having on skates! I love all your little gurney candles, too. I have deer, trees, angels, choir boys and the nativity scene.

  14. Oh- It looks so fun. When MyHero took the tractor out this weekend my youngest son started laughing and said. Where's Dad going-to build another rink in the backyard? lol You DO remember last year's disaster? Glad to see SOMEONE knows how to make a rink! xo Diana

  25. When I was young I went ice skating every week ~ I loved it. To have one in your own backyard...I can't think of anything that would make winter more fun!

    We had snow too and will be getting more...
