Party celebrations at the Plantation Dollhouse!

The Easter decor is officially put away at the Plantation dollhouse and the birthday girl is ready to share some birthday cake with her friends.
I wrapped miniature pieces of Styrofoam with pastel scrapbooking paper and added little bows and flowers.

Her friends have arrived in their festive party dresses.

The faux cupcakes that you see with Emma's birthday presents were given to me by Viv a few years ago.  She has a tutorial for making them on her blog found on this post.

I discovered the cupcake wrapping paper at the Dollar Tree last week.
A sweet little party for my "almost" SWEET 16 year old (and the grown-up Momma)!

  4. Kim,
It always looks like you and your family have so much fun...you really still know how to play like a little girl and that is so important as an adult! :)

  11. let the good times roll!! 16! yikes! time goes by so fast doesnt it? glad you get to play with the cupcakes every now and then. I've been toying with the idea of making a faux birthday cake. I think we are birthday free until August here, with the exception of Jacob, who would have been 2 in june. hmmmm.. maybe I'll make that faux cake in honor of him! Well we'll see if it ever gets done.
    Have a great day Kimmie!
