Scrambling and celebrating...

Although we plan on keeping our a-frame cottage open as long as possible (we've even decided to put money into a new furnace in the hopes of enjoying some autumn fun and possible winter weekends of ice fishing and ice skating), I suddenly find myself scrambling to fit everything into these next few weekends.
We'll be busy celebrating my mom's birthday Saturday and I've promised my mom and sister that we could explore some antique and thrift stores near our cottage.

    A heat source will be good for that A-frame. We will more than likely have warm temperatures here for a couple of more months, so it isn't time to try to work in everything yet.:-) xo Nellie

    I think thats a great idea! My aunts cottage is heated and she loves to be there in the fall and for thanksgiving. Happy birthday to your mom and have a great weekend!

    Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I totally understand the end of summer scramble. This is my last week and I think I have every day packed full of stuff to do and I am still not getting everything done that I want to do.
