After talking to the estate sale employees, I found out the building had housed multiple retails, including a butcher shop. The most recent owner loved to decorate for holidays and had saved all kinds of wonderful things.
Most items were priced at .25 or .50 cents.
I was happy to see so many Christmas seals in one box. The entire filled box was marked for $2.
I also picked up a few rolls of vintage wrapping paper.
Mrs. Claus looks a tad bit crazy, but I'm looking forward to repurposing the deer and Mr. Claus.
The Peanuts puzzle box was super dusty, but it hadn't been opened and so Josie got busy putting it together Friday night. She's such a little genius with puzzles. I think she had it done in less than 10 minutes.
The blow mold was also .50 cents and was a welcome addition to my ever-growing collection!
The deer and trees were in a box that my husband brought home after he passed through this same sale on his way home from work.
He also picked up this lovely item!
It is the tackiest thing I've ever seen and I've already pulled apart all the lovely decorations to use on future Christmas crafting projects. Another fun sale in estate sale land!
You just never know when a good sale is gonna pop up and where! Love all that you got--Mrs. Claus does look a little bit crazy. Her cheeks give new meaning to the word "rosey" (lay off the egg nog Mrs. Claus, just saying...) The deer your husband got are precious! ANother great day of sale-ing! Maggie
