It's a wrap! Happy November!

How was your Halloween? Friday ended up being a bit snowy, with lots of wind. Not the greatest weather for trick or treating, but we made the most of our special night.

We then headed to the east side of the state Saturday morning to watch Emma's marching band perform at Ford Field in the State Marching Band Competition.

We're so proud of how hard these students worked this year.

Thanks for hanging with me the last six weeks which were focused primarily on all-things Halloween.

I say this every year. Anyone want to come help me pack up all my Halloween chaos? I have 20+ tubs waiting to be filled!!

PS.  While shopping Sunday afternoon for groceries, I happen to notice the discounted Halloween area. I need another blowmold like a hole in the head.

Mr. Ghost has already started making friends with his other electrical friends.  Happy November!

  3. There's always room for one more..of anything actually! That's my motto. That's how collections are born. Congratulations to Emma and all her hard work. It takes a focused young lady to handle all that plus the school work. All my Halloween is put away :( made me sad till I saw my pilgrim friends and happy turkeys. I was exhausted though! I'm getting old! Maggie

Good for those hard working teens in the band, and congrats on how well they have done. Stay warm!

  6. Yes, 'tis time to store away the Halloween trimmings and bring out the Pilgrims and turkeys! It was a rainy Halloween here, but the trick-or-treaters made their rounds on our street. The bonfire that was scheduled for after had to be cancelled though. xo Nellie

  10. I am so sorry that your Halloween was cold and snowy. However, it looks like you made the best of it!

I also hate putting decorations away and I am so very bad at it too!

    Congrats to Emma!

Do you have the turkeys out yet?

  14. I'll gladly help you if you will come over and help me :) Love the ghost! He looks so vintage. Love your gurley candles too. The pilgrim ones are hard to find. I have found several turkeys and one day I will find a pilgrim. Looking is half the fun. Have a great day!

  15. Congratulation to Emma, the marching bands routines look amazing.

Another little decoration...now you are defiantly going to need another storage tub!

Packing things away is always such a chore but next year will be even better!
