It's now featuring an assortment of decorations celebrating the approaching Chinese New Year (Year of the Goat or Sheep) which begins February 19th.
I've said this before, but of all the trees, that I display in the sunroom, I think the CNY tree is my favorite.
I'm sure it has something to do with our time spent in China.Happy "soon-to-be" Year of the Goat!
PS. Prayers for all my east coast friends and Storm Juno!
This is one of your most beautiful trees! I need a boost from you....to get in the decorating mood! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tree it is!! xo Heather
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and festive tree, Kim! I had to chuckle over your "made up holidays"!!:) I feel so bad for those folks on the east coast, guess I shouldn't complain about our cold here in MI!
ReplyDeleteI love the tree! It is such a super idea to decorate it year round depending on the current holiday. xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteReally lovely tree Kim . . .
ReplyDeleteI love that you keep some of Josie's background alive for today!
I've told you before, I love your cny tree! I wonder how many people have a cny tree? I bet not too many!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Xoxo
The CNY tree looks fantastic, such a light during these dark wintry nights. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is great. I like all the red. Stay warm. Brrrr it's cold out. Praying for the east coast.
ReplyDeleteI like the dancing lion head at the top, it's my favorite Chinese animal. When I took my GS troop to Chinatown in San Francisco I mad the wander all over until I found a little shop that sold the lion puppets.

ReplyDeleteI love this tree so much! It just radiates happiness and well wishes! We have 18 inches of snow here in Eastern Long Island so far. Still snowing today. The power is on though so I'm happy for that! Maggie
ReplyDeleteI think the New Year's tree is one of my favorites too. It's so festive and has so much meaning to you and your family :) I do wish this coming year had a cuter mascot though. Goat?
