Swinging into May

Yesterday, I hit an estate sale at the very late end of the work day.
Let's just say, I was swinging (more like skipping) out of there!
Always on the hunt for vintage Christmas treasures, and I was rewarded with a big box of dusty goodness. I didn't even know what was all in the box, but the whole box was $5!
At the bottom of the box was a spunhead/chenille stem creation that looks like something Laurie (Magpie Ethel) might have created.
I've already decided this red, white and blue putz house will be getting a Kim K. patriotic makeover.
We have lots on our agenda this weekend, including a quick stop by the cottage to drop off some things and retrieve our boat for spring cleaning.  Have a wonderful weekend, friends.

  12. Look at all the goodies. We had a three barn event here today. I wasn't even tempted. That's amazing for me. But let's just say I have been busy online getting bargains.
Our lake situation continues on. They have drained part of the lake. Those having their boats on lifts can't even get their boats near the water. If they lower them they will go into deep mud. This may last for 5 years. Last week-end they had an evacuation drill. Unreal. Have a great week-end.
