I just happened to be visiting my favorite antique store last weekend and this little wooden dollhouse managed to hitch a ride home with me!
Yes. I'm weak. But in my defense, the price was very good.
With its red brick exterior, it looked like it was needing a Christmas holiday makeover.
At my last birthday, my mother gave me these special Victorian dollhouse dolls and made their tiny beautiful clothes.
Well, how adorable is that? I don't recognize it at all- I wonder how old it is? Can't wait to see the inside. And, as usual, you've decorated it so nicely- I love the Santa and his sleigh out front! I'm crossing my fingers for a new dollhouse for Christmas- I sent out a few not-so-subtle hints about a few on Ebay and Etsy!
ReplyDeleteNot sure when I'll be ready to show off the new house. Even once we're in, it may take a while to decorate, because we plan to add on, and everything will be temporary until then. But you know me, I won't be able to help adding my spin on everything even so!!
How precious! You know one of these days I'm going to find one and want to decorate it for Christmas! I'm going to put a link on my post to your blog today! Merry Christmas! Hugs, Diane
