Hippity, Hoppity, Easter is on its way!

A few more Easter decorations haven't made it to my blog yet and I thought you might enjoy seeing what else has made an appearance this year. 

The rabbit that you see in my bedroom fireplace was formally part of an Easter display in my grandparent's children's and women's clothing store.  

The vintage metal Easter basket was found last year on clearance at an antique store.  It was a steal for $2.50 and the graphics are absolutely amazing!  

My grandmother's cookie rabbit cookie jar is back, along with a few candy containers from estate sale land.

The white bunny and yellow chick featured on the top shelf are special gifts from previous years of swapping with Viv (viv's whimsy).  I love them so!  

I also added this cute collection of 4 wooden Egg cups that I rescued at an estate sale earlier this winter.

As you can see, the top of my pie safe is nice and full this year.

I don't think the Easter bunny is going to have any problems finding our house this year.

My 2016 Easter tree reveal!

I’m realizing I haven’t shared my Easter tree yet this year. 

Once again, my Easter tree is filled with lots of eggs, handmade ornaments, floral picks and anything Easter related. 

 Not counting all the Easter estate sale treasures I acquire and then stash away in my craft room all year long, I’m up to 3 tubs of Easter decorations.

 I said this last year, but I do believe my Easter decorations seem to be multiplying like rabbits.

 Hard to believe Easter will be here in a week and I still have a few more Easter collections to show you.

8 years!

On March 16th, it will have been 8 years since we became a family of four.  

Happy adoption anniversary, Josie!  We have two amazing daughters and I can't imagine our family any other way.

Easter has arrived at the plantation house!

Since my last blog post, all our snow is gone and we’ve actually been enjoying spring-like temperatures! 

With a very early Easter and such beautiful weather, I was inspired to pull out a few more Easter decorations. 

 My plantation dollhouse has officially received another holiday makeover.

A few bunnies are visiting and they've been busy redecorating for Easter.

The special Easter bunting was made by Patti (Paintin Patti) last year.

Doesn't the plantation house look extra festive?

Welcome March!

March certainly came in like a lion in West MI.  We had another snow storm on Tuesday with enough snow that the girls got a snow day and my university canceled night classes.   

Rumor has it, that we will see a drastic warm-up next week and we may actually see temperatures in the 60s!

I'm not really complaining though.  It's been fairly mild winter compared to last year.

Last weekend,we went to Grand Haven to see Lake MI. It was windy and cold and incredibly beautiful!  

Earlier this week, I started bringing upstairs a few Easter cuties that live year-round in my craft room.

I'll probably start decorating the Easter tree in my sunroom soon.
