She is one tough little girl.
And for everyone that's asked me if is she as sweet as she looks in her pictures.
The answer is "yes"
She has an amazing positive spirit.
We are soooo blessed.
Saturday is the BIG day for Josie's family superhero party. As if the superhero tree wasn't enough, here are a few sneak peeks of other decorations...
I picked up a couple of sandpails at Dollar Tree and covered them with scanned images from the superhero comics I thrifted last week.
Later, Josie can use the sandpails to store her superhero figurines.
While I was at the Dollar Tree, I also noticed they had quite an assortment of superhero candy.
Between the cake, superman ice cream, & candy...our superheros should be flying high!!
I also hung our extra batman kite above our kitchen island...
Chris and I have been plotting how to turn the deck off our sunroom into a batcave and we've got some pretty cool ideas in mind (lots of black tarp, strings of lights and a smog/fog machine are included in the design). Let's hope the weather cooperates with our ingenious plans!!

Happy Birthday to your tough little cookie! Bless her heart! So glad she is doing okay.
ReplyDeleteOh my word! Your tree turned out FABULOUS! You scored tons of cute stuff at the Dollar Tree. Seriously, I think the Dollar Tree is my favorite store! I get most of my party stuff there. I just bought football chocolates which are perfect for Carson's NFL party! They always have what I need!
I am so glad the procedure went well, the timing wasn't great given her pending big celebration!! She has all the all more reason to celebrate! I love everything you have planned for this party, those buckets are really crafty! Have a wonderful day tomorrow and Father's Day weekend.
ReplyDeletePS I recently saw fairy doors on the internet and thought they were precious. What a very special unique gift, can't wait to see yours!

The superhero CD is so cool. Glad Josie did well with the dental appointment. It amazes me what kids can go through.
