F is for Frankenmuth!

We took the girls to the Bavarian town
of Frankenmuth this weekend.

We dined at Zehnder's and stayed at their elf-themed hotel.

One of the most famous attractions in the town of Frankenmuth is Bronner's.

This world-famous store has EVERY single kind of Christmas decoration you could ever want. As a little girl, my parents used to take us here to buy Christmas decorations for my Grandparent's retail clothing store. It's filled with aisles and aisles of Christmas decorations and gorgeous holiday displays (all for SALE).

Truly beautiful eye candy.

There is literally every kind of ornament
you could ever dream up.

Yes. A few of these spider ornaments came home with us for our Halloween tree. If we wanted, we could have even purchased our very own bunny suit for Easter!

It is truly a magical Christmas place.

Even in March.

XOXO

Looks like a fantastic weekend!
Bronners is overwhelming...I try to make a list so I don't go on overload and leave without anything.
A little birdie told me you came home with something special~hope to see it later in the week.
Thanks for sharing the terrific pictures!

What a fun weekend treat. My parents went there a few years ago and really enjoyed it.

Huge sigh of green envy. I would have had to go through once to see it all before I decided on my purchase. Looks amazing. From the gnomes to the mushrooms. Those spider ornaments are super cute. This store would be reason enough for me to have a tree up all year. This is a catalog I love to get every year. Smiles...Renee

KIM!!!!
I have seen Bronner's featured on HGTV and some of those Extreme Christmas shows on other cable channels. Every time I see this store, my mouth waters! LOL!
Now you know me and that I would be in heaven just to visit this store!!!
Lucky you!!
Thanks so much for your visits and always kind remarks. I did shoot my mouth off a bit on the last post but it was something I wanted to say for quite sometime. LOL!
I'm good now, got it off my chest! LOL!

That looks like such a fun place to visit! The elf hotel with the toadstool pool would be soooo much fun for little kids! The bunny suit could have been fun! ;-)

So fun that you could share one of your childhood memories with your girls. A few years ago we came across a vintage amusement park called The North Pole in NY. It was the sister park to one in Colorado I had gone to as a child. It brought tears to my eyes to see my kids on the same vintage rides I had gone on as a child.

Looks like so much fun! We used to go to Helen, Ga (a similar German-town) when I was a kid, and we went again last summer with my own kids! And I got married in Leavenworth, WA (yet another one), so these kind of towns have special meaning to me. I've never been to Frankenmuth though- will have to check it out one of these years!

Yummy Zenders! I was coming home after taking my daughter back to MSU yesterday and saw a big billboard for Bronners and made a note to myself that we must go there soon!

That looks like such a fun place for a little vacation and not that far from me. OK, probably under 500 miles. I would go nuts in the Christmas store!

What memories this brings back. We went to Frankenmuth when I was a child visiting family in Michigan. We went to the Christmas store, walked the covered bridge and ate at Zenhders! My parents actually bought a couple of the irons to make those oh so yummy deep fried treats you get there... Thanks for the walk down memory lane!
