I see the moon...

I see the moon
The moon sees me
God bless the moon
And God bless me.
-A nursery rhyme

I don't remember seeing a more handsome moon. This picture was taken from our driveway Wednesday night. The temperature was 93 degrees at 11:30pm.  It reached 101 degrees on Thursday and it's expected to be even hotter today.  I'll be attempting to stay cool in my craft room playing some records and working on some special projects this weekend.

Happy Friday.

Have a lovely weekend.

  4. "When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie..." Great pic and love the thought of an LP on the ol' record player to fill the house with song.

  7. Hi Kim-That is so fun that you got such a great picture of the moon on Wednesday. We saw it as we were walking down to a New Jersey beach to view the fireworks. At the time, it was orange and some clouds were covering it a little. We actually thought it was part of the fireworks and that they had started early. It took us a few minutes to realize it was the moon!! Hope you had a great 4th.

  8. What a gorgeous shot. Almost the color of a harvest moon. hm...looks like sewing time. I'll be right over. Tony Bennet is right up my alley. I will bring Frank Sinatra and Etta James. Smiles...Renee

  22. Oh! We need a turntable for all of our records from many years ago! I keep wanting to get them transferred onto CDs, but just never do it. There is no one better than Tony Bennett!

Yes, the moon was lovely, but it was too warm to sit outside and enjoy it here as well.
