Earlier this week, while we were at my Aunt Jean's funeral, we were watching her casket being put into the hearse to drive to the cemetery for her graveside service. Josie exclaims to everyone around her,
"Wow. I didn't know that Aunt Jean got to ride with the President today. Cool."Have a great weekend, friends. Hug your loved ones.

You gotta love those kid moments...their take on things. When our friend was buried a few weeks ago SweetCheeks was sitting on my lap. In a stage whisper she asked....DID HE DIE CUZ HE WAS SO SHORT? xo Diana
How cute is that. I'll give an extra hug to my loves today in honor of aAunt Jean!
Children are amazing! Always making memories for us.
Hugs,
Nellie
I'll bet Josie got everyone to smile with that comment!
I keep thinking of Jean tap dancing in heaven...hoping you are, too! Hugs!
Yes, squeeze them tight.
So well said Josie, one of those awwww moments.
Aren't kids great? The twist they put on things is amazing!! When my mother-in-law passed away, my oldest was 6...she told us heaven was a great place to go, because grandmother didn't even need her glasses!! And she was blind as a bat!
Your Josie sounds like a wonderful young lady!!

Kim, Happy Sunday! I absolutely loved reading the post about your mother's crafting space. I can see where your love of doll houses began. This is such a sweet post for today. You will always remember your sweet daughter's words at this moment, and they will keep your Aunt close to you.

What a cute post! Kids can say it sooo much better sometimes.
Hope you have a great week!
How cute of Josie. I bet that gave you a much needed smile at just the right moment:)
Ah, I imagine her comment brought a much needed smile at the perfect time. Cool, indeed!
She's so cute! The innocence of children helps to lighten even the saddest of moments. Your photo is really beautiful, Kim. The sun shining through the trees has made a cross.
What a sweetheart!
Take care!
