Donna from Donna's Lavender Nest and I were paired with each other for a recent Valentine exchange.
We were each asked to decorate a Valentine candy box and fill it with special treasures. This is the box I decorated and sent to Donna. If you would like the little Asian girl graphic, you can find it on this blog post.
More pictures of Donna's box and all the treasures I tucked inside, can be found on her lovely blog post here. This is the darling box that Donna sent me.
Who doesn't love their name spelled out in scrabble tiles! Squeal!
Donna knows me so well. My box was loaded with all sorts of vintage goodies.
This is the interior of the box with all the contents emptied out. Love the vintage-inspired fabric!
Donna was so generous with me, that I even had a few more goodies that didn't fit inside my box...including this dollhouse bed!
Doesn't this miniature bed look perfectly happy in my craft room?
Thank you so very much, Donna.
Drum roll please...
Laura from (Vintage Bettys) has been selected by Miss Emma to be the recipient of my Valentine give-away.
Please share your postal address and I'll get your special Valentine goodies in the mail. For everyone else, I love giving away my creations as much as I enjoy making, them so you can plan on additional Kim K. give-away opportunities in the future. I'll be sharing pictures of the decorations from yesterday's party on Tuesday. Let's just say everything turned out beautiful for the Chinese Language School and I was exhausted.
XOXO

ReplyDeleteIm glad the CNY party turned out well. I'm sure your decorations were a hit. Pretty quiet weekend here. I only went out on saturday night to see Les Mis, which was really really good. With the exception of russell crowe, who though he did a good job, was def not a great singer. but I loved it regardless.
