- In 2008, we went to the Jiangxi Province to adopt a little girl who needed open-heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with a SN adoption with others. When I'm home from work, I love to sneak in a weekly craft project or a trip to my favorite antique/thrift stores. Such sweet photos! I grew up with 2 sisters (no brothers), and we are all best friends now. Now I have 2 boys and 1 girl, and my younger sister has 1 boy and 1 girl. She commented to me recently that our girls are never going to have the experience of having a sister. I found that kind of sad, because you're right, relationships between sisters are special!
So sweet! I can relate. My sister is my best friend :-)
