How is your Christmas wrapping coming together? Last year, I wrapped my gifts in brown packaging paper from the Dollar Tree and added a tulle ribbon and glittered poinsettia leaf with tiny millinery flowers. The tulle ribbon and glittered leaves were also from the Dollar Tree.
I noticed they have many different kinds of glittered items this year (in case you are interested).

This year, the Dollar Tree featured red/brown gingham packaging paper with their mailing supplies and I added a satin ribbon and a toadstool tag from the Katie Brown collection (
thanks for sending them to me, Sherry).

A few of my packages will also have special vintage embellishments on top (
be sure to act surprised, Mom, Michelle and Aunties).

If you'd like to make your own chenille stem Christmas inspired figurine, Martha has an adorable snowman tutorial
here.

More complex chenille figurines and a tutorial can be found
here. Love the Victorian images.

Here's my version.

The Santa face and snowman face can be found on
ImagiMeri's Creations. She has wonderful vintage images.

In case you need another easy project (
pinky swear) to do with the kiddos, I made these vintage inspired Christmas party crackers (poppers) out of a left over wrapping paper roll.

I didn't take the time to take pictures during the assembly, but it was super easy. I just cut the empty wrapping roll into equal sections, filled with chocolates and mini candy canes and sealed up each roll with tissue paper and tied with a ribbon.

Christmas hugs!
