Kicking off the first of the May celebrations!!!

The first of our month-long celebrations kicked off this weekend.   

 Although I don't have lots of photo evidence, please know that Emma did a wonderful job on her flute solo.

 We then celebrated Josie's first communion mass late Sunday afternoon.


 She is wearing the same dress and veil that Emma wore seven years ago.

We're very proud parents of both our beautiful girls.

Josie - The day the Lord brought you into our family, we have been blessed over and over again.

Dear God, Thank you for this special girl and the joy she brings as she learns to love you and follow in your way.
   

May! A month of celebrations!!

We have several celebrations happening at our house this month starting this weekend with Emma's high school band concert (she has a flute solo) and Josie's 1st Communion Mass. 

Aside from Josie's 1st Communion, May is packed with Mother's Day, Emma's Sweet 16 birthday, my birthday, our 22nd wedding anniversary, Memorial Weekend and eventually we get to Josie's birthday the first part of June.

I've decided to give my blog a makeover to honor our upcoming celebrations.  This picture might look familiar to my long-time followers.  It's a collection of some of my favorite party supplies. 

This is my crazy time at work with winter semester ending and the condensed spring/summer semester starting at my University.  I'm just taking a few deep breaths and have already started dreaming of eventual summer fun.
