New summer routines...

Over the weekend, we sat and listened to the lake.

We read books outside.

We listened to the rain fall against the A-frame roof.  

We unpacked puzzles from recent estate sales.

We took slow boat rides around the lake.

 Everything is so relaxed right now.  Bring on the new summer routines!
   

Less than a month away!

In July, I'm bringing my family with me to Denver while I present at the Online Learning Consortium Blended Learning conference and then we're hitting the road. I'll give you a hint on our BIG destination. 

 We can't wait!

A is for...

Accordion!!!

Thanks to my sister who gave Josie an early birthday present this weekend at the lake, we are now enjoying lots of accordion serenades.  

A-frame!!!

As soon as work was done on Friday, we went to the A-frame. Chris built me a few window boxes. Don't they look fabulous?  

Our association was having a lake-wide garage sale and several vintage treasures were found.  

My favorite find were these Stetson pine cone dish set.  It only has three plates so I'm on the hunt for more.  

Josie will be celebrating her 9th birthday this week.  

It's just party central around here!  Fingers crossed that the thunderstorms that are predicted Friday don't materialize.  We had hoped to take her friends putt putt golfing.  Have a great week ahead, friends!
