Happy 4th of July - Washington DC Bound...

Happy 4th of July, I hope your day is full of fireworks, family, food, and everything that makes you happy.

Thanks for the bracelets, Aunt Marion.

Forgive the repeat. In a little over a week, my work is sending me to Washington DC for a conference and I'm bringing the whole family. Have I said how much I love my husband's K-12 summer schedule!! If anyone has a MUST SEE exhibit or family-friendly activity in Washington DC, please share. We picked up a travel packet from our local AAA office (wow...the possibilities are endless), so I'd love personal recommendations.

Happy 4th of July!!

Love the red, white, and blue trees in the first photo. Too cute! I also love all the kiddos in their patriotic colors. Priceless!
Have a great trip to Washington!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Looks like you guys are having a wonderful 4th. It has been a while since I have been to DC so I don't have any great suggestions.

Now, that's the way to celebrate: centerpieces, outfits, yummy food, bling, fireworks, dad on the grill, and all the decorations! So fun! We're missing our boys...they're still at Kanakuk, but having fun with our little patriot!

It looks like the Kenwards were celebrating in style!! Love the pictures.
We were on the road for most of the day, so not much celebrating, but made it home in time for fireworks. The kids enjoyed that!
Enjoy DC - I was there a few years back, but it was in the winter, and it was cold!!!
Love, Barb

You have the coolest projects and ideas! Love the bracelets and the star garland. I thought of you when I was trying to put together some decorations for our 4th of July party. I didn't have time to pick your brain for ideas--too bad, because you had some cool ones. :)

How FUN to go to DC!! I'm looking forward to hearing all about it through your blog. :)
