Chris is so close now. Just a few more cedar shake siding pieces to attach to the front of the tree house and then he can say he's officially done with the siding. Three of the tree house walls have aluminum siding and the front has cedar shake.
It's been a labor of love and Chris has learned quite a bit about construction throughout the last three months. We'll spend the winter plotting how we want to finish the interior (which is MY FAVORITE PART)!! Chris is hoping to decorate the exterior for Christmas with lights and evergreen bows. It's definitely more charming than I ever imagined. I can't wait to fill it with all kinds of family memories.
I think I might be as excited to see what you do with the inside of it as you are to actually decorate :) I think I would ahve to camp out it in the first week or so haha
It really does have charm! I know y'all are SO ready to finish up and start on the inside. Gosh, I can only imagine what you will do in there!! BEAUTIFUL work Chris!
In 2008, we traveled to China to adopt a toddler who needed
heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with SN adoption. When I'm not at work, you might find me at an thrift/antique store or estate sale. I also love to sneak in a craft project and decorate our multiple dollhouses with my girls.
Come play with me!

In 2008, we went to the Jiangxi Province to adopt a little girl who needed open-heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with a SN adoption with others.
