An Easter parade...

We woke up to more fresh snow this morning,  but my craft room has been enjoying a mini spring-filled Easter parade.
Lots of Easter bunnies are all lined up on my window ledge.

My childhood Bunnykins dishes mixed with a few Gurley candles.

Upstairs in my dining room, the keystone dollhouse is also having their own spring Easter parade.

Momma chick has been busy decorating a special Easter wagon.

Her busy chicks are tucked inside.

The flowers that I used on the Easter wagon are currently available in the $1 bins at Target.  I just dusted them with some white glue and a bit of glitter.

The wagon is half of a large plastic Easter egg.  It's trimmed with crepe paper ruffles.  Buttons were added for wheels.  It was inspired by my friend Viv and her darling Easter parade.

A pair of sweet birds purchased from dear Elizabeth (Creative Breathing) are also enjoying the parade.

Aren't they glorious in their festive party hats?

Easter hugs from our little house to your own!

XOXO

You have such a beautiful parade of unique and sweet pieces. The wagon you created is ingenious, I love Viv's parade as well!
So glad you were able to get to Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate, it sounds perfect, I hope to take my daughters one day to one of their resorts.
Have a great day, we have shovelling to do too!

All the chicks and bunnies and lambs look fabulous in their glittered hats and ruffled Easter finery. Each little character could easily qualify as the finest lady in the entire parade! :-)

Never was there a sweeter Easter parade. The little wagon on it's wobbly wagon wheels is my favorite! Thank you again for my Easter house. It has been relocated to my mantle in preparation of the big day. I'm off to have my MRI read, fingers crossed! E

Dang, I wish I was small enough to fit in the wagon!!!!

I wish I had the time to do all my lamb planters up for the holiday.......oh well, maybe next year.

Hugs,
Meri

Hi Kim-I find myself wondering where you store all your seasonal decorations when they aren't on display. You must have a huge (very organized) attic! Thanks for the heads up on the dollar flower deal. Have a great week. Tricia

What a fun parade! I was just at Target today and someone had cleaned out their $1 flowers. I thought I saw your car in the parking lot :).

Oh, now I have to go to Target! Your parade is just adorable. I haven't had time to fancy up my lambs, but I want to. In the meantime, it is so much fun to look at everyone's parade entries! Blue ribbons all around!
