A bit of spring cleaning...

Although our MI weather certainly doesn't feel like spring (and I'm not planning on putting away my Easter decorations anytime soon), I decided to do a bit of spring cleaning on the blog.

My latest blog header is a color copy of a print taken from a favorite vintage book that I have framed and hanging in the girl's tree house.

We are all anxious to get our backyard in order and have our first picnic of the season in the tree house.

The weather predictions for Friday look to be back in the upper 50s.  Come on SPRING!

We're ready for some tree house adventures!

XOXO

Cool post! Are those tulips from your garden. I had three blooming today, they were very close to the house and protected, but hey, first blooms . .. I love it. . . spring is coming :)
My hubby and I are celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary this week and we are having a $25 give-a-way, please come over and get your name in the drawing :)
No we didn't marry on April fools day, we waited one day, so's not to be joked at for the rest of our lives :)
Have a marvelous week,
Your blogging sister, Connie

The print is darling. I always go gaga for the beautiful vintage vignettes that you create for your headers!

And let me just say....WOW! I want to live in that tree house.

I like your new header . . . I can see why you are anxiously awaiting warmer weather to spend time in that treehouse. It looks like the perfect place for tea parties and playing with friends.

I know! I cant wait for sweeter weather either. I'm sure we all cant! Im looking forward to raking and planting.. and cleaning up my yard... it is a DISASTER out there right now.
Im home today. I want to make dinner and take it too the kids. And see my grand pies. I wish it was nice out. I'd go buy that two seater wagon and take them out walking. maybe I'll go buy that wagon anyways.. just to have it for when it does get nice!
have a great day Kimmie!
xoxo
PS.. thank you for those prayers..

What a cute header!

Wouldn't it be fun to have a picnic? I am ready to welcome in the season, too.

Looks like Michigan will be busy with basketball next week-end! Enjoy!

Love that vignette with the print hanging above the shelf with the doll shoes and dress- so perfect! I wish I had all girls so we could have a sweet playhouse like that- Avery isn't nearly as interested in girl things with big brothers!

We are finally going to have temps. in the 60's this coming week!! Maybe Spring is actually here even though it sure has been hiding!!
I am in no hurry to take down my Easter decorations either. My friend, Anne Marie, is leaving hers up until the end of April since Easter was so early....
