Halloween crafting ...more plastic wine glass cloche ideas!

Back in December, I posted about my obsession of using Dollar $1 Store plastic wine glasses to make miniature cloches.
When I visited Michael's over the weekend, I noticed in their Christmas crafting supplies that they had teeny tiny mini houses for $1.49 and thought why not turn them into mini haunted houses!?!
Just in case you are wondering how small they really are, one house fits perfectly inside a plastic wine glass.
I started by removing the silver ribbon on the roof and then painting the houses black.  They were then embellished with a bit of ribbon, glitter and whatever else I had on my craft room counter.
The house is sitting on top of metallic grass (currently available at Hobby Lobby).
I also glittered some tiny bottle brush trees (also available at Michaels) with white glue and orange glitter.  Excuse the crazy glare.

The whole thing is then glued on top of Halloween scrapbooking paper and the top of the wine glass is decorated with a vintage cupcake pick and decorative yarn.
With a Christmas hook or string, they could also be used as an ornament.
I made an extra one to share in an upcoming Kim K. Halloween give away.  Be sure to check back.  Halloween hugs!

Kim...you are my hero! I swear, most of the ideas I steal/borrow are from you! I am definitely headed for Michaels as soon as it opens. I think what appeals to me the most is how small the houses are. I have always loved miniature things, but have never done the dollhouses like you do. I do think I may do something with shadowbox rooms some day. Thank you for brightening my Halloween-lovin' day!

Hi Kim,
Those are so cute! I saw those minis in Michael's a while back,I did buy the cookie tray and gingerbread house for my dollhouse. I didn't realize you had a dollhouse until I was reading on one of Debbie's dollhouse posts. I will have to go back and look at all your miniature anything posts. I just adore miniatures! I hope you will visit my blog, my last post has my dollhouse pictured in it.
Have a great day.

Those are so cute! I have no idea why they sell houses that small though unless they knew you'd find something fun to do with them!
