A hippity hoppity cottage tour!

The Easter cottage is finished.
The rabbits have learned to stay away from Mr. McGregor's garden and they are now growing their own carrots.
If you are a long time follower, you may recognize it as one of the many dollhouses that I transformed a few years back on this post.
When Chris came home with this hand-carved bunny from an estate sale, I decided to reclaim the little yellow cottage for my own Easter decorating purposes.
Back in 2012, Emma helped me assembly the furniture (still available at Michael's) and I did the painting.
Perhaps you'd like a cup of tea or a nice tossed salad?
The tiny cherry dishes are still available at Hobby Lobby (I'm borrowing a few from Josie's dollhouse).

Maybe you'd like to get warm by the cozy fireplace?

The bunting was made from tiny sticky notes folded over baker's twine.

The little ones are upstairs in the bedroom loft.
The miniature plastic stroller is from the Dollar Tree found in their baby shower supplies. Diane (Saturday finds) had posted a darling picture of fluffy baby Easter chicks in this stroller and I knew I needed one too.
I hoped you enjoyed touring the Easter cottage.

You know I'm not done with miniature Easter displays.  The plantation dollhouse is next!

Have a hippity hoppity day!

Not only did I love touring the cottage, I would like to move in! I am always in awe of these creations. I wish we had Hobby Lobby. I have to check our Michaels for the furniture as ours does not have much of a miniature aisle :( I will check larger ones and AC Moore. Great job. Love the fireplace and the china too. Sweetness!

OH, the little pot holder hanging on the cabinet door kills me! And love the chocolate bunny in the storybook doll's basket! I've been out of town- now to see what else you've posted!

So cute! I'm glad the bunnies are growing their own carrots now. Love the addition of the yellow ric-rac trim along the roofline, too.

PS- does your kitty try to bat all the decor and furniture around? My cats reach through the windows of my doll house and swipe the little critters that live in the house with their claws. I find them later, at the bottom of the stairs and rescue them. Hopefully none of them will get their stuffings ripped out.

I love miniatures but don't seem to have the hand coordination to work on such small items...but I think I could handle pop-out wooden furniture. I can see it in Swiss/German style to go with the things I collected in Germany. I was just looking at the little dishes at Hobby Lobby...now I have an excuse to get them.
