I think you are just at the right place at the right time. Think of it as an investment. Keep preaching to your young driver. Show her the post. That little stinker is not new in my care. I have hsd her since she was two months. Love her to pieces but I am worried about her behavior. Have a great rest of the week. Hugs
That's so great!!!!! What a way to start your day! You are gonna have so much fun...I mean even more fun. MORE, MORE, MORE fun on top of all the other fun you always have! You get the point! Yippee! The sales here on Long Island consist of ugly 80's mirrored furniture and faux marble ugly stuff. A whole lot of ugly. 80's isn't vintage--someone tell that to my fellow Long Islanders! I'm moving to Michigan!
What fun! I know I'll find one too...one of these days! I put my new stove and cradle in my doll room today and they look so sweet. I don't know where a doll house would go. But if I find one, I'll figure it out! heehee! Have FUN! Hugs, Diane
I love it . . . even though you are addicted. I am looking for some kind of doll house, solid square box shape to make into a free library box to have in front of our house. Have you heard of them?
oh kimmie, everyone should have, oh you know.. a dozen or so dollhouses... keep buying them.. youre not done yet! LOL! great find! happy wednesday xoxo vivian
I see vintage metal dollhouses from time to time and am always drawn to the colors and graphics on them. Luckily for me, the large sizes have kept me from bringing them home. Now the farms and barns that are smaller? Completely different story. I have a few :-)
I think some neighbors had that dollhouse when I was growing up and I was so jealous and wanted it! Yay for you -- you do need another dollhouse! :) Happy Wednesday!
Kim, that is a MARVELOUS find! I am so glad you got it and are restoring it. It's beautiful! I am new here, but I love that header. Right down my alley. :-))
Your lucky day!!! I am so happy for you Kim. Yay another house for you to decorate. You will find a space for it and I know you will decorate it so cute. I can hardly wait to see what you do with this one. I love the little chaise too.
Kim, I've been out of town, and am just back to checking my favorite blogs- what a day to check in!! The dollhouse is wonderful- I love the red and green roof- I don't have any like that. And I really love that chaise! I can't wait to see it decorated!!
In 2008, we traveled to China to adopt a toddler who needed
heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with SN adoption. When I'm not at work, you might find me at an thrift/antique store or estate sale. I also love to sneak in a craft project and decorate our multiple dollhouses with my girls.
Come play with me!

In 2008, we went to the Jiangxi Province to adopt a little girl who needed open-heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with a SN adoption with others.
When I'm home from work, I love to sneak in a weekly craft project or a trip to my favorite antique/thrift stores. Come play with me!

I'm Pam and I'm addicted to tablecloths. :)
There are worse addictions we could have.
Can't wait to see it all decked out!
