Have I said how much I love that it's only 40 minutes away?
By 6:30, I had a pot of pasta cooking and we were ready for a night of board games, coloring books and reading.
It was a cool weekend but sunny, and we spent time exploring the Muskegon river.
The weekend zipped by, but it was just about perfect.

What cherished memories you're making! Make as many as you can because it's not the same once they're gone!

Thanks for saying we can skip the robot step. I figured we couldn't skip it!
Sounds like a restful fun weekend, even though it was cold. Love the sunset photo, just gorgeous!
Have a great week,
Gina
Looks lovely! What a wonderful retreat! Hope you have a great week!
How wonderful to have a getaway to escape to and relax with the family. Plus you have made it so darn cute! The river looks so cold, but beautiful.
Happy week!
oh- These posts make my heart hurt just a little-remembering all the time we spent at the cottage with our kids when they were little. We didn't even have a TV there for years and years.
What a beautiful spot you found!!! Your kids will always remember the times they spend there now. xo Diaan

Wow, your water view and the sunset are amazing, Kim! You will be loving the place even more come summer!
I love seeing you all so happy together. Such a blessed family!
Your week-end looks so relaxing. I love your little a-frame. I hope you received a package today.
Perfect way to spend the weekend for sure! Comfy cozy!

Kim,
Looks like it was a wonderful weekend indeed and apparently warm enough that the lake had thawed! Hope you have a great rest of your week.

I just love it. We've made a few trips with our new pop-up camper, but it's always such a chore packing and unpacking. How I would love to have a place that's always there, ready for my family to unplug and spend time together!
