This and That.

Over the weekend, we celebrated Emma's very last high school prom.  Sigh.  Such a beautiful girl, even if I'm a bit biased.
I also spent some time cleaning out my garden shed (which is more like an adult playhouse than a garden shed).   I chased out all the spiders and washed linens. Now, I just wish our weather would stay warm enough to enjoy it!

On Sunday, my mom, sister and I attended season opener of the Allegan Antique market.  Of course, I found another Chinese Checkerboard to add to my growing collection.  I'm addicted, I tell ya!

Lastly, if you are out shopping this weekend and near a Dollar Tree, they are selling the prettiest paper lanterns and they even light up!  Wouldn't they be really festive as birthday party or Mother's day decorations?  I hope you find time to play this weekend.

XOXO

I too wish the weather would warm up a bit. I am dying to enjoy the warm sunshine. So thankful for our Florida trips.. I think that makes all this easier to bare.. or does it make it harder? lol! Have a great weekend my friend. Im on call again, but only as back up supervisor.. so hopefully I wont have to go out. Im hoping to do some crafting.. cleaning... cooking.. a little yard work... ok.. maybe we should cross the cooking and cleaning off that list!
Happy weekend!

She is lovely and I know you are proud of both of your girls. We are too! I may have to run over to Dollar Tree later. I never go any more and miss some of the neat things they sell. Enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Diane

TN warmed up really nicely but we are having "a cold snap" right now, in the 40s at night Strawberries are ripe and farmers market has lots of spring produce all the signs of spring are here !! Love the shed, and thx for tip on the lamps haven't visited there in a while so make a point to Happy Mothers Day Elaine

OH my gosh, Kim, it's been a while since I visited (buried in crates and boxes from moving here), but love all your recent posts! Emma is so beautiful and grown-up, and I loved her prom dress. Your garden shed is so cozy- what a vintage-lover's paradise! and loved seeing the pics from Rock City and Ruby Falls- I remember going there as a kid! Hope you're having a wonderful spring!!
