Right before Thanksgiving, I stopped at Trader Joe’s and found this gingerbread Aframe kit.
I just knew it was meant to come to the lake with us. I know I’ve said this before, but I love our Aframe even more in the off-season.
It's cozy.
It’s quiet.
. And it’s really fun to decorate at Christmas. I also love being able to spread out my Christmas collections between two places.
I know these next few weeks are going to zoom by and December 25th will be here before we know it. I have a few Christmas projects to share. Josie and I have been busy in my craft room.
We even managed to find a $5 dollhouse that we turned into a Christmas house.
I'll be back! Pinky swear!

I love your A frame too! A special place for sure. Cute redo on the new dollhouse!

I sure do love your A-Frame. As we are thinking about selling and downsizing I keep thinking about an A-Frame. I think it would make a great retirement home. Yours, as always, is just adorable. xo Diana
I have missed you. So happy to see this post. What a wonderful place to spend the holiday...you decorations are always inspiring. And the A-Frame is so very, very charming.
We lived on the lake when I was a kid - summer was busy with traffic and carloads of people and noise. But, in the winter, it was quiet and beautiful and such a happy cozy place to be! I love your A-frame life - it looks relaxing and fun!
I love that you use it year round. I can't wait for a beach house visit. Tied to my glue gun and I REALLY need a little time off there!
Fun! Tis the season-enjoy:@)
Your little Aframe is just adorable and it is a great place for you to decorate. very cozy!! I can imagine lounging with a book and hot choc and just looking over the lake watching the snow fall! Just lovely Kim... and you add just the right touches to the whole little place!

You have so many vintage things that are perfect for your cabin...I mean Christmas cottage! And I love the 'new' doll house! ENJOY the fun! Hugs, Diane
Your Aframe sounds and looks so perfect! I just love seeing it! Have a great week!
I love your A-frame and love how well your retro Christmas decorations look in it. The A-frame gingerbread house was made for you. I can't wait to see that cute dollhouse done up. Where do you find those great deals. Jealous!
Hi Kim,
Your Christmas dollhouse looks incredible, I want to see more! And for $5, wow, what a deal! Your decorating in the A Frame looks so festive and cozy. What fun!
Enjoy your last couple of days of November!

Always love your A-frame decorating Kim. It looks great. Oh I want to see more of that Christmas candy house. :)
I always love seeing how you decorate the A-frame. I also can't wait to see what you did with a $5 doll house and see the crafts you have made with Josie. I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Oh my goodness, Kim! It's been so long since I visited! I've got to take some time and look back through the last couple months! Life is so busy here, I've pretty much dropped off the blog-o-sphere, as you know! Love the little $5 dollhouse- my money would've been out so quickly for that one!! I need to take photos of my new studio, where most of the dollhouse reside now. I'm almost done decorating from Christmas, and my new house is a perfect Christmas house- I hope to take pics this week and post them! So nice to check in with you! Hugs!
