A Christmas Pixie House

I had hinted on my last blog post that I found a dollhouse for $5 at an estate sale.
No.  I certainly don't need any more mini houses.

But, Josie and I needed a craft project and at $5 I couldn't leave it behind!

It needed to be rescued.

It needed to be loved.

And I have several pixies that needed a cute Christmas dwelling.

It was a fun project and nearly all the materials, were items I already had in my never-ending supply of estate sale miniatures.

Merry "mini" Christmas!

That looks handmade, like maybe by a Grandpa or something. I am sad to think of it being in a thrift store. But Love what you've done with it!

oh, soooo adorable, Kim! I wouldn't have left it behind for $5 either. I love the furniture you've used, too-especially love that fireplace!

You are really teasing me with this creation! I collect the pixies and this would be my favorite house that you've made. I wish my sister could see this (she's not on the internet) I may try to save some pics to send her on her phone. Beautiful holiday magic! Hugs!

Oh my goodness Kim, I absolutely love that house! Now I'm mad at you because I want to get an old dollhouse and do the same as you've done. Maybe I'll have my husband build me one instead so I can have it just the way I want it. Love love love all the pictures.
I've been away from blogging for a while, lots going on in my world and mom was not doing well so just been busy busy busy. Sadly, mom passed late this summer and I'm trying to take time to do things that matter to me, like catching up with blogging friends. I hope you are well and happy. Take care and thanks for the inspiration, although the last thing I need is a new project! Julie
