Easy Thanksgiving Table Decoration...

Just in case you need a last minute decorative idea for your Thanksgiving table, here's a fun and super easy craft. I posted this project last November and shared it on Dream Home DIY, but it's worth recycling. It's so easy that even Josie helped me and she was only three at the time!

Step 1. Recycle a glass jar.

Step 2. Coat the glass jar in glue (I diluted the glue with a bit of water and let Josie use my sponge brush).

Step 3. Press on a few fall leaves onto your jar and then brush another layer of glue over top of the leaves.

Step 4. Sprinkle a bit of fine glitter over the top of the leaves (I glitter EVERYTHING) and let dry. I put my jar in front of a fan to speed up the drying process.

Step 5. Fill your jar with a battery operated candle or tea light candle and enjoy!

Wouldn’t several of these jars looks festive on your Thanksgiving table?

Happy crafting!
Have a super weekend doing something you love!

What a fantastic idea! I have some beautiful grapevine leaves that would make gorgeous candle jars--thank you for the inspiration!

I must have seen this while I was wallowing through your blog a few weeks ago (yes, I've read the whole thing) and I bookmarked it then. Stunning and nearly free is a good combination!
