It's a new month, so it's time for a new blog banner.
The group of items are a mix of some of my favorite vintage and reproduction summer collection. I'll be switching over my living mantle later this week to beach/vacation items and will share some additional goodies next week.
Speaking of vacations, here are a few more pictures from our week away.
We did things like...
...visit a dairy farm...
...enjoy "very fresh" ice cream...
...race go-carts and bumper boats...
...fish at a nearby inland lake...
...take long walks in the woods...
...shop at cherry stands and favorite antique barns...
Beautiful vacation posts. The girls look like they had such a wonderful time. I really like the vintage Mackinac Island card, I have been wanting to go there for so long.
Aww, great pictures-but you still have to show off the goodies! You always make sure that memories are made-and your family will always cherish those! Thanks for sharing!
I think I want to escape to your beach!!!! How wonderfully fun!!! The weather looks perfect! We don't adventure out unless it's to the pool or splash pad! :) Dallas is HOT!!!
Looks like such a lovely time away!!! Friends of ours have recommended Mackinac Island ~ sounds like such a wonderful place; it's probably only about 4 hours from here ?!?!?! Great photos! : )
In 2008, we traveled to China to adopt a toddler who needed
heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with SN adoption. When I'm not at work, you might find me at an thrift/antique store or estate sale. I also love to sneak in a craft project and decorate our multiple dollhouses with my girls.
Come play with me!

In 2008, we went to the Jiangxi Province to adopt a little girl who needed open-heart surgery for Tetralogy of Fallot and hand surgery to remove an extra thumb. I'm always happy to share our experience with a SN adoption with others.
When I'm home from work, I love to sneak in a weekly craft project or a trip to my favorite antique/thrift stores. Come play with me!

It looks like a wonderful vacation! Your new banner is great too. Welcome back!
Makes me miss the summer days when my kids were content to ride on paddle boats and visit dairy farms - you are making precious memories.
Looks like an amazing vacation!
