Pretty Pink Lanterns...

One of my favorite acquisitions while on vacation, were these two vintage pink paper lanterns. I thought you might appreciate seeing how I have them displayed in my craft room now that I'm home.

I took a couple of silk cherry blossom branches and put them in a pink vase and hung the lanterns from the branches. I've got a collection of paper lanterns in my craft room and I was drawn to these ones because they are much smaller in size than the ones I already have and their beautiful pink color is so sweet.

Other Asian-inspired collections in my craft room include Chinese Checkers, Christmas lantern bulbs, Chinese silk outfits from our trip to China, a beautiful pink paper goldfish kite also brought home with us from China, and a very special pin cushion from Beth's Bagz .

May you find some special treasurers this weekend!

Kim the color is just sweet enough and the painting is beautiful. Those are keepers. Beautifully hung from the branches. More ideas in one square foot than most peoples full house! Enjoy your weekend....smiles....Renee

I'd love a bare space just to spread out. The fact that you have such a gorgeous, inspiring area in which to work makes me green with envy. I love that you hung those from cherry branches.

I love the kite. One of my favorite animals is a fantail goldfish. So pretty.

How pretty the lanterns look hung in the tree! I should hang something in the tree in our guest room! I have 2 dolls dressed in outfits that my son and his family brought back from Viet Nam...you would love those! I'll try to post them this week! ♥
