I took a couple of silk cherry blossom branches and put them in a pink vase and hung the lanterns from the branches. I've got a collection of paper lanterns in my craft room and I was drawn to these ones because they are much smaller in size than the ones I already have and their beautiful pink color is so sweet.
Other Asian-inspired collections in my craft room include Chinese Checkers, Christmas lantern bulbs, Chinese silk outfits from our trip to China, a beautiful pink paper goldfish kite also brought home with us from China, and a very special pin cushion from Beth's Bagz .

I Loved going through your posts and seeing the pics from your vacation...it looks heavenly! Lake Michigan is gorgeous...I'd love to go there and that cottage is precious that y'all stayed at...glad you all had a great time :)

I love the kite. One of my favorite animals is a fantail goldfish. So pretty.
How pretty the lanterns look hung in the tree! I should hang something in the tree in our guest room! I have 2 dolls dressed in outfits that my son and his family brought back from Viet Nam...you would love those! I'll try to post them this week! ♥
