It's all about the hunt...

On Sunday, my mom, sister, and my walking cast, braved 94 degrees to hit the Allegan Antique market.

It was worth the sweat and very swollen foot.
I didn't bring this child's tea cart home (but I wish I would have).

These are the goodies that ended up in the back of my van...

Another children's party game book (I found a couple of cute ideas that I can use for Josie's upcoming birthday party) and a flower frog.  I can't have enough of those frogs for displaying photos and postcards.

I also couldn't resist these penny dolls.  Don't you just love the sweet little Asian girl and Indian princess?

I also got this child-size wooden ironing board for a song.  I'm planning on hanging it up in my laundry room.  It'll be perfect near my washboards and doll clothes.

I have a shelf that runs the width of our sunroom that I'm going to fill with summer decor and I thought all these pieces of miniature furniture would add a fun touch.

I also brought home a few more goodies that I'm going to use in an upcoming belated birthday give-away.   Be sure to keep checking back.  Happy thrifting!!

Oh boy that cart is amazing...it would have to be the right price though. I have been watching things with decals increase substantially over the last few months...Your little furniture is darling and I am sure it will be perfect in the sun room. Glad you got out...smiles...Renee

I have been hunting for an ironing board just like that! It looks in such good condition. Wonderful finds. I had that same wicker dollhouse furniture when I was small - brings back so many memories. What a great birthday outing.

The ironing board is the cutest thing ever! The only time I would say that about an ironing board is a tiny one!
I had a metal one when I was little and an iron that actually plugged in and warmed up, not much but great fro pretending. FUN FINDS!

It looks like it was worth the trip. I don't know if I could have left that tea cart behind though. Very cute!

Looks like you had a fun time at the show, despite the heat and your poor foot! Love the cute ironing board. That tea cart is just so sweet. I can relate, seems like there is always something I pass up that I later regret! You may just luck out and find another one next time, though:)

Looks like it was a really wonderful sale! So many cute little pieces of furniture. I especially love your little ironing board. I have a little green toy iron that is just the right size to use with one like that. I'll have to keep my eyes open for one around here.

Oh, how cute will that ironing board be in your already cute laundry room?!? And love that tea cart-it may have come home with me, although I suppose the price could have deterred me!

Little furniture and that ironing board!! Does it get any better? I have never seen a child's tea cart, but it is adorable. Such a cute idea for a playroom. Maybe next time. I'm glad you braved the heat and the swollen foot. Your finds were definitely worth it.
