Halloween decor for the dollhouses...

Josie has been busy playing with her haunted castle that I made last year at Halloween.

The wooden castle structure is still available at Michaels if you are interested.  I used textured spray paint to give it a spooky look.  Halloween scrapbooking embellishments cover the walls.

Even the "mom" gets to decorate a dollhouse for Halloween.
This is the dollhouse that you can see from my craftroom window.  I've added a few more Halloween treasures to the interior in the last week.

A mini Halloween tree now stands in the living room.  The bottle brush tree was originally green and I soaked it in bleach and then when it was dry, coated it with glue and glitter. Tiny pom poms and cobwebs cover the tree.

A few more objects are on the fireplace mantle, including a mini owl and skull.  When my Aunt Marion delivered crafting supplies earlier last week, they were tucked in a box.  Yea for me!  The Halloween banner on the mantle is from Michael's and was with the scrapbooking supplies.

A Halloween treat bag sits on a side table in the foyer.  It was also in the scrapbooking section of Michael's.

Mini Halloween lollipops now grace the table in kitchen.  I bought them from the same vendor that made the carved pumpkin.  They are super teeny tiny and I'm glad the dollhouse sits way above the reach of kitty paws.   I hope your weekend is filled with some play time!
When we aren't at Emma's Marching Band competitions this weekend, we're going to start transforming our garage over to this!  Picture from 2011.

Halloween hugs! I'm definitely ready for the weekend!

My mom and I visited a miniatures store recently and loved that pumpkin-carving-on-the-newspaper piece. So fun - and tiny! I really love that mantle decor.

I have decided I must come to one of these parties...if only to play with the dollhouses. You will find me right inside that studio window...peeking into the rooms of that dollhouse.

OMGosh, it just never stops at your house......does it?

I love all the miniature goodies, that's one area I try to avoid cause I'd go crazy. I've already got way too much stuff as it is, but I've always loved miniatures.

Love ya'

Love the tour of your halloween dollhouse decorating. What a great idea to look in the scrapbooking section for mini banners etc. And, of course your dollhouse needs a mini halloween tree! I love it when you micro size your own decorating style to fit your dollhouses. So cute how the La La Loopsy dolls match the halloween colors! Hope your weekend is going well.
