Tassel Garland

Inspired by Heather's post (from Love and Life at Leadora) which featured her Valentine tassel garland, I decided to make my own in honor of Chinese New Year which officially begins tomorrow (2/10)!  Instructions for making tassel garland can be found here.

I used gold, red and pink tissue paper, along with mini paper lanterns, honeycomb circles and Chinese red envelopes.

When the heat vent blows in our sunroom, the tassels dance on the line.

Chris is convinced they look like his fishing spinner bait skirts.

 I love this garland!

I ordered some things from Oriental Trading Company myself (you inspired me) so we can celebrate Chinese New Year too! A great reason to have a party and have everyone there! Just for fun!
Have a great day!

Now that you mention it they do look a tiny bit like bait spinners. But in a good way. Very festive!
