Mail call part 1...

Meri (ImagiMeri) had asked me several weeks ago if she could use my girls as models for lightbulb dolls that she was featuring in her upcoming class.

As you can see, they are truly amazing.

Look at Emma's beautiful green eyes.

With Josie's much shorter hairstyle, doesn't she look like her precious doll?

Thank you so much, Meri.  I'm also planning on framing the scrapbooking page that you included.  Your talents never cease to amaze!

If you'd like to see other featured dolls from her class, be sure to check out this post on her blog.  Such talented ladies at this upcycled light bulb class.  As I've hinted on earlier posts, the postman has been so busy at our house lately.

Gayle  (Garden of Daisies) sent me cowgirl wrapping paper to use at Josie's upcoming western birthday party.

Miss Josie has already gotten a sneak peek.  Isn't it cute?? I'll have posts to share all week long of gifts that have been delivered to my house!  Erica, Lynne and  Donna...you're up soon!  I promise.

PS.  I survived my office move yesterday.  This is my hectic month at the University with hosting and developing faculty development workshops.   I can't wait until it's June!

Adorable light bulb dolls, the likeness is amazing. Sounds like you have a very busy month . . . Is Josie ready for her birthday celebration?

I don't know that I've seen light bulb dolls before. These are precious! Glad to hear the move went smoothly for you. This is a busy time for so many in education. Around here, though, the school year begins in August, so high school graduations are this coming week-end.

OMGosh that wrapping paper is to die for! I know the dolls are too big to use in the play houses, but hopefully Emma will still play with Josie and the dolls a little. Josie looks adorable with her "mini-me" doll.

Meri

Those lightbulb dolls are amazing, I hadno idea they were lightbulbs, if you hadn't mentioned it - the painting makes them look like wood. The western paper is so sweet, I look forward to seeing how the entire celebration ones together. How wonderful for Chris and Emma to participate in a 5k together, the photo are terrific!

Aw, this was a really nice post. Taking the time and actual effort to make a very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never seem to get anything done.
